Cuba at the Crossroads: Achievements and Challenges

Schoolchildren in Havana The Cuba at the Crossroads residency offers students an in-depth look at Cuba today from a range of perspectives, including economic, political, social, cultural and artistic. The residency encourages critical thought on the Cuban Revolution, both its successes and its ongoing challenges.  Through scholarly panels and discussions, participants will debate a variety of issues in contemporary Cuba such as the changing economy, race and gender relations, Cuban cinema, human rights and migration. Come join us as we deepen our understanding of this complex and fascinating island nation.
