New Internship Course Available for Spring 2023

Are you looking to gain experience in your career path? Participating in an internship is one way to gain experience and grow your network in the field.

Next spring, SUNY Empire is piloting the New Experiential Learning program, which combines an internship with a course (PSYC 3996) taught by Dan Nyaronga, Ph.D. The program is designed to engage students in a professional setting that pertains to their studies and career goals.

Students who wish to register for the course should:

  • Speak with their mentor to get approval to include the course in their degree plan.
  • Obtain an internship.
    • For students who already have an internship lined up, please contact Anita DeCianni-Brown, collegewide career development coordinator at Anita.Brown@esc.edu. You will need to provide the contact information for the internship site.
    • For students who do not have an internship lined up, check out Handshake, SUNY Empire’s new job posting platform.
    • If you are unable to find an opportunity, contact Anita for further assistance with your search.
  • Register for the PSYC 3996: Internship course for Spring 2023 Term.
