Ready or not, tax season is here. But there’s good news. To make filing your taxes a little easier, SUNY Empire State College has partnered with the New York State Department of Tax and Finance to provide students the opportunity to schedule an online appointment with a tax department professional.

Appointments are available to SUNY Empire students every Friday from February 19 to April 9

And if your 2020 income was $72,000 or less, you can prepare and file your return using Free File, income-tax software available on the NYS Tax Department’s website.
